THE FUTURE IS HERE

Students from 6th grade have been working in a new unit based on the future.

First, they have been preparing a brief presentation of some weird means of transport.

Later, a book of prophecies appeared in our classroom and the result was....

This is Halloween!

Casting for a new film!

If you can make people cry...
If your favourites colours are red and black...
Then...

During this unit, students in 6th grade have transformed into spooky creatures. They had to introduce themselves, saying their age, where they lived and their abilities as a monster.

Then,  all the monster travelled around the world living weird and amazing adventures as a crowded Halloween parade in New York, a spooky farewell party or a noisy horrible march in the Buckingham Palace.

Join our clubs

In 6th grade, we are running our own clubs. First, we had to think about `what is it?´, 'where is it?', 'what kind of activities?' and , of course, the prices. Don't forget to check the discounts!

All the clubs are full of amazing and surprising activities. From concerts of well-known artist to cupcakes, including extreme sports or how to care your horse. Moreover we created a short presentation with all the details in our I-Pads.

THE ANIMAL WORLD

In this unit, 6th grade students have been preparing a project about different animals. They have chosen weird, endangered, prehistoric and cute animals in order to create a presentation about their life styles and some curiosities about them.

Where have they found information?

Well, they have had the opportunity to look for information in some books, which have been brought from the USA, and of course using their iPads.

Here you have some pictures about the books they have already used and about the process while they were preparing their presentation.

They are also preparing some animals' fables to do a theatre play or a storytelling about them =D

Living History!

LIVING HISTORY!

 

During these weeks 6th grade students have gone back in time. They discovered America and the gravity; they also invented the telephone, the plane and they arrived to the moon or even travelled to China creating the "Silk Road".
