Welcome to our spooky Zoo!

BOO at the ZOO

"Hooray! Halloween!" Those were the words from students in 5th grade. 
The project of this unit was a “Halloween zoo”. Each student chose one animal giving it some characteristics to transform into a weird Halloween animal. They did a really good job describing their characteristics, personality and physical appearance. 

 

Then, students created a spooky story that they performed for the rest of the classroom. Here we can see one example:

Let's imagine a new world!

During this first month, we have been working on our ideal countries. We have been talking about their names, flags, landscapes, people, weather and so on. Moreover we had the opportunity of working with our new American classmates. It was a really good experience. We learnt a lot. Projects were made using the I-pads so you can check some examples below.... Would you like to live there? :)

Hey Vickings Hey

HEY VIKINGS HEY! 

In this unit 5th grade students are living as if they were vikings. They are learning different aspects of vikings life related to food, houses, clothes and jewellery, trading, battles and so on. 

Moreover, they have transformed into Vikings showing us their way of life. 

Now, we are training dragons; We are very brave!!
